First Doctor's Appointment

Magdalene did great at her first Doctor's appointment. She is back to her birthweight already and is breastfeeding like a champ!! We could not be any happier. We have been soaking in every moment and have enjoyed sharing her with our visitors :)

I have to write about a funny thing that happened already! At the doctor's office, we had taken Maggie's clothes off for her to be weighed in by the nurse. When we got back in the room to start waiting for the doctor to come in, we decided to change her since she had a wet diaper. I was getting things out of the diaper bag as Travis was getting her situated on the bed. As he took off her wet diaper and put it to the side, she started peeing on the butcher paper that covers the bed :) She peed and peed until her bladder was empty! She soaked her little onesie that she was in since the pee spread all over the bed. Travis picked her up as I cleaned up the mess and pulled more butcher paper to cover the table that was soiled. We got that all taken care of and put her in a new diaper and onesie. Once we were all settled back down...we heard something else, a giant you know what hitting the diaper!! Since we were still waiting for the doctor, we decided to change her again :) This time, it was uneventful. We were laughing about the whole thing. We probably looked pretty funny trying to take care of everything in that tiny room :)
