Update

We are doing great! Magdalene is still just the cutest and sweetest baby. She is growing so fast and already fitting into some 9 month clothes! She has started to grab things a lot and will push my cup when I'm trying to take a drink now. She loves being outside and this particular morning, it was so nice, I decided that swinging outside would be nice :)

I've started learning how to sew by following an online tutorial and I have learned so much! My mom bought me a sewing machine, patterns, and material )and a whole bunch of other sewing stuff) to get me started. My first project I decided to try was this hat. It turned out great! I may add a bow and string to tie it under her chin, but we'll see. My next project is a bag!

While my mom and sister Ruthie were visiting, we put on Ruthie's sunglasses and the hat I made and she looked pretty darn cute :) She actually kept them on for a little bit.

This is the doll I knitted for her 1st birthday. I know it's a little early, but once I started, I just wanted to finish it :) It turned out so good, I was a little proud of myself. A friend of mine thinks it would be cute to make Maggie a matching dress, but we'll see. I'm kind of tired of knitting for now and think I'll focus on sewing for the next few months.
