8 Months

Maggie has grown a lot this month! She now has four teeth and her hair is growing and I think getting lighter. She loves being outside and is starting to crawl. I love watching her play, she can just sit and play with her toys and entertain herself for awhile. We lowered her crib to the lowest setting because when she goes down for naps and when she wakes up, she pushes herself into the sitting position and plays. It was a shock the first time I walked into her room to find her sitting up banging her hands on the mattress. Going down for naps is more of a challenge because she constantly pushes herself up into the sitting position no matter how many times I place her back onto her back. She doesn't go down for naps as easy as she used to. She like to fight it :(  She is sleeping thru the night so that's good. She has tried all kinds of solid foods, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and bananas. She has liked them all and gets excited to eat them! We only give her about two tablespoons at lunch and two at dinner.
