10 Months

Wow, every month that goes by seems to go by too quickly. I am definitely trying to soak everyday up with sweet Magdalene :) We are starting to call her Magdalene more now. Travis prefers to call her Magdalene so I will start caller her that more than Maggie, but I still think Maggie is cute for short.

She is into and doing all kinds of things now. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but here is what I can think of now...

- Saying "da-ee" to Daddy, also saying what we think is doggie, bunny and book. Not sure how to spell those like she says them, but Travis and I have both noticed she says them the same way every time we are around those things. She's said and can say mama, but it's more like mamamama. She did it once when she wanted to eat breast milk, while climbing onto my lap and it was so cute :)

- She sleep with a little bunny my mom gave her. I started giving it to her soon after she turned 9 months and she really like having a buddy to sleep with. I don't even have to go in her room anymore after I put her down for a nap, she just goes right to sleep. Sometimes it does take 10-15 mins, but not very often.

- She has mastered downward facing dog pose :) she is so funny because once she remembers she can do it, she does it over and over and over again. We have been helping her do forward rolls once she gets in position, it's pretty funny.

- Travis taught her to turn off light switches and to turn on her play piano.

- A friend it letting me borrow her pack and play. I never thought I needed one, but it's so nice to be able to do a few things while she plays in there :) I'll also let her roam sometimes while I vacuum, but if I need her to be in one place, it's really nice to have.

- She enjoys playing independently. I was watching her play one day and I noticed that she was having the bunny and lamb talk to each other, well, that's what it looked like to me :) It was cute.

- She books. If she is across her room and I want her to come to me, all I have to do is start reading a book and she comes right over.

- She is starting to pull herself up on things like me, the couch, and her play piano.

- She is looking so adorable it kid clothes. She is wearing 18m now!! It still amazes me. She is so long and the cloth diapers make her butt big so that's part of it. 18m shirts fit a little big but they are not too baggy.
