Now it's been a really long while....

I've been wanting to post, but just haven't. I even have the blogger app on my phone, which I thought would make it easier to document things on here. I have not been very good at all :( I wish I had. Magdalene is doing so much now. Talking so much and putting together things that just make me so proud of her.

Today when I gave her, her vitamin, she replied "Thank you Mama", with out even being prompted.

She is learning where her shoes go after she takes them off, I tell her to put them up and she will put her socks inside her shoes and taken them over to the place where I put them. I never once told her or showed her to put her socks in her shoes, she evidentially saw me do it enough times that she just does it herself.

She is potty training herself pretty much. I have not changed a poo poo diaper since October 2nd! She wears panties at home unless we have a friend over (she gets too involved in play to remember to tinkle on the potty) Yes, she still has accidents and she wears a diaper when we are out and about. Sometimes she really surprises me and holds it till we get home or will ask to go if we are out. It's pretty unbelievable to me how smart she is and wanting to do this herself.

She repeats everything and it's like they say, she is just a little sponge that is soaking everything up right now. She entertains herself really well and mimics what we do with her to her dolls/stuffed animals.

Just wanted to also document our typical day since I'm taking the time to actually post something...

7ish - Wake Up
8ish - Breakfast
We run errands/have a play date/go to park/play at house
Noon - Lunch
play more
1:15/1:30 Nap lasts about an hour and a half to two hours
play till daddy gets home...outside play/walk to pond/inside play
6ish - Dinner
7:30 - Bath
8ish - Bed time

It was the end of September when we were at Mass and we had just sung the "Gloria" and when we finished, it was silent and Magdalene responded "More Gloria?" From then on we have sung the Gloria to her at bed and nap time. She has gotten really good at singing a bit with us. It's so cute and warms my heart. Mostly she will just say the last word in a sentence like "Good Will", "Thanks", "Great Glory" and "King". One day I will need to record her, her little voice is so sweet.

Anyway, I am just soaking up everyday with her since Baby #2 will be coming sooner then it seems. My due date is November 30th, but I'm banking that s/he will come in December. We'll just have to wait and see.

Here are a few recent pictures that capture this wonderful little girls of ours....

So sweet. I remember Allia singing all the way home from Good Friday service, "Jesus, remember me" over and over." Little girls songs are the sweetest. Enjoy...the years go by so quickly!
